<p>Anxiety is normal and is simply a reaction to stress.  It is something that can help someone deal with tense situations in different areas of one&#8217;s life, such as at work, school, or just something that requires facing a crowd of people. But if anxiety becomes a fear of everyday situations, it has become a life-changing disorder. </p>
<p>Anxiety attacks and panic attacks are different because a panic attack strikes without warning whilst an anxiety attacks slowly builds up. Unlike anxiety, a panic attack is an irrational fear of something that can&#8217;t be named. Panic attacks rarely have an obvious reason and are more intense than the feelings of an anxiety attack. </p>

<p>Have you ever considered yourself committing child abuse even once in your life? This does not mean beating your child or whatever way you may describe it. Because if not giving your children a regular dose of fish is a form of abuse, then you are guilty.</p>
<p>The fact that you don&#8217;t like fish is not an excuse. You are old enough to know that if you don&#8217;t eat fish now, sooner or later you will experience problems related to not eating fish, such as arthritis. But your child is different from you. He/she does not have the capacity to choose and to know what is good for him/her. And because you as parent know the possible consequences of not letting your child eat fish, it is so uncaring to deprive them of such right.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s time to cut the crap. Come to think of it, it would be best if you will simply do something about it. That is, learn how to encourage your kids to eat fish.</p>
<p>Based from experience, I can say that the only way to have your kids do what you say is to act it up on your own. That is, teach by example. Children tend to imitate what their parents do and this is manifested until they are in their teenage years.</p>
<p>And so, just as what the experts keep on saying, teach them by example and while they are still young. The message is clear - to teach your children to eat fish, you must first start eating fish. Of course, it&#8217;s not easy to get used to the taste or maybe because you have not just bought a fresh one. But it should not be a problem. You can always fix them. Here&#8217;s how: </p>
<p>Non-fish eaters say that fish tastes fishy, or so they thought. Of course, fish is fish and will never be like chicken. But the reason behind its fishy taste, if ever there is, can be attributed to its preparation or its freshness. So to avoid fishy fish, always go for the freshest catch.</p>
<p>Start with a fish cookbook. Keep on trying all fish recipes until you have found the one you and your family will love. </p>
<p>Experts say that it is simpler to build up your liking for fish by starting first with a mild tasting fish. This does not include salmon because even if it has the highest omega 3 fatty acids, it is also highly flavored. So you&#8217;d better start with those in the white fish group such as sea bass or grouper. Little by little you will get used to the fish taste and eventually you will like salmon. Do it this way and everything will be easier for you and your family.</p>
<p>Start weaning them for fish foods and you will see the difference it will make. You can start with fish oils and give them to your child as young as 6 months. Eventually, they will ask for more and will soon have fish as one of their favorite food. And when you have lunch or dinner out with your children, there is 8 out of 10 chances that they will order fish. </p>
<p>And even if your kids are old enough to know what they like and to stick with what they have been used to, such as pot pies, pizzas, and TV dinners, you can still do something about it. Just follow the instructions I have given earlier and combine them with love. Keep in mind that you are doing this because you love them. And by the time that there are no other foods on the table but fish, they will soon give in.</p>
<p>To lengthen you children&#8217;s lives and to put them in the pink of health, try these ideas. Studies show that aside from the many benefits that fish can give, it can also improve your child&#8217;s mood and behavior. This is advantageous on your part too. Just be happy you have chosen to teach your kids to eat fish. Sooner or later, they will also appreciate what you have done.</p>

<p>Psychosis is defined as &#8220;loss of contact with reality. This typically includes delusions (false ideas about what&#8217;s taking place or who one is) and hallucinations (seeing or hearing things which aren&#8217;t there).&#8221; by the Medline Plus online encyclopaedia.</p>
<p>Bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression, dementia, hallucinations, unfounded fears, extreme excitement, abnormal emotions, delusions, confusion and delusions are among the general definitions of psychosis.</p>

<p>The research conducted in the Journal of Affective Disorders reveal that &#8220;Major depressed subjects showed significantly lower total omega 3 polyunsaturated fatty acids?than minor depressed subjects and healthy controls.&#8221; (Vol. 26, No. 38, 35-46)</p>
<p>The implication: the more fish oil fatty acids you have in your diet, the less the chances are that you will be depressed.</p>
<p>Based on another research done on patients with depression that was published in the American Journal of Psychiatry &#8220;Highly significant benefits of the addition of the omega-3 fatty acid compared with placebo were found by week 3 of treatment.&#8221; (Vol. 159:477-479)</p>
<p>The implication: all you need is 3 weeks and you will get the health benefits that fish oil provides.</p>
<p>The Archives of General Psychiatry published a research by Harvard University which found that, &#8220;Omega 3 fatty acids were well tolerated and improved the short-term course of illness in this preliminary study of patients with bipolar disorder.&#8221; (Vol. 56 No. 5)</p>
<p>In other words: Patients with bipolar disorder had their conditions improved after taking fish oil.</p>
<p>Further research reported in the American Journal of Psychiatry, had a conclusion that &#8220;The results of this study suggest that EPA may be a safe and effective form of monotherapy for women with moderately severe borderline personality disorder.&#8221; (Vol. 160:167-169)</p>
<p>Meaning: Fish oil is a good supplement to help women who have severe personality disorders.</p>
<p>The research conducted by the UK University of Sheffield that was published in the Journal of Affective Disorders reveals &#8220;The findings [of their study] raise the possibility that depressive symptoms may be alleviated by omega 3 PUFA [polyunsaturated fatty acid] supplementation.&#8221; (Vol. 48(2-3):149-55)</p>
<p>In other words: A good supplement of high quality fish oil can reduce depression.</p>
<p>That is the summary of the benefits that fish oil can provide as treatment to psychosis and minor depressions.</p>

<p>Panic attacks are sudden intense feelings of anxiety, fear and discomfort. The underlying cause of panic attack symptoms is the release of adrenaline into the bloodstream. This happens when the body responds to situations of extreme danger which is commonly referred to as fight or flight response. The trouble is when this release of adrenaline happens too regularly and unnecessarily, which leads to panic attacks.  </p>
<p>Panic attacks can seemingly come from out of nowhere. You may be doing something very common that you do all the time, such as buying groceries, driving or just taking a walk. Then suddenly you are hit by a panic attack. Your hands start to shake uncontrollably, your breathing becomes shallow and quickens and you feel your heart beating faster and faster.</p>
<p>Slowly there will be thoughts of paranoia; which are feelings of being the center of other people&#8217;s negative observation and judgment. Thoughts of worst possible scenarios will start to engulf the mind. The mind will start to believe that the worst things will happen, such as the ceiling collapsing, the elevator breaking down or the plane crashing etc.</p>
<p>It is no wonder why people suffering from panic attacks are so affected by this affliction. They live in fear because of it. Panic attacks may come anytime and anywhere, and this has greatly affected their confidence to live their daily lives.  </p>
<p>The most effective way to stop panic attacks is to face it head on. Don&#8217;t fight against the panic attack, instead let it come, befriend it and allow it to run it&#8217;s course. In other words, weather the storm of the panic attack. There are 2 reasons why taking this approach is good;</p>
<p>First, it is because fear feeds on fear. The more you fight against or try to avoid a panic attack, the more fear you are letting out. And as you do that you are feeding it and making the panic attack even stronger. However if you face it head on, the attack has nothing to feed on and slowly it&#8217;s energy will be drained.</p>
<p>A good metaphor for panic attacks is a roller coaster. When you&#8217;re on a roller coaster ride, you will notice that the more you resist and oppose against the movement of the roller coaster, the more tense and frightened you will be. Conversely when you go along with the movement of the roller coaster, you will find the ride to be exciting and enjoyable.   </p>
<p>Second, every time you avoid or try to run away from a panic attack, you are only escaping from it until the next time it happens. However if you face the attack head on, accept it and go through it, you will experience the realization that there actually was no real danger at all. You will realize that you have not been harmed in any way whatsoever.</p>
<p>When you have fully faced a panic attack and come out of it unharmed, there will be a sense of relief and understanding that it is your illusions of danger that have been creating these panic attacks. You will realize that in reality there isn&#8217;t any danger at all. This realization will take away your fear enable you to face future panic attacks with confidence. Having this courage will lead you on the way to conquering panic attacks.</p>

<p>An estimate of your blood alcohol concentration (BAC) is determined with a breath alcohol test. This test measures the amount of alcohol in the air stream that you breathe out (exhale). A simple hand held device is available enabling you to measure breath alcohol level on yourself. The device can provide a correct estimate of your blood alcohol level if calibrated and used in accordance to the manufacturer&#8217;s instructions. This home machine is similar to, though not as exact as, the type of test used by police for suspected drunk drivers.</p>
<p>Within minutes of drinking alcohol, your blood alcohol concentration starts to rise. Unlike food, alcohol is absorbed directly through the walls of the stomach, goes into the bloodstream, and travels throughout your body and to your brain. This allows blood alcohol levels to increase quickly.</p>
<p>Food in your stomach may increase the amount of time it takes for the blood alcohol to reach its highest level however typically the amount of alcohol in your blood reaches its highest level about 60 minutes after drinking. Most of the alcohol is broken down in the liver while the rest is passed out of your body through urine and exhaled breath. You can purchase breath alcohol devices to measure your breath alcohol concentration at many pharmacies or through the Internet.</p>

<p>There are individuals, however, with excessive fats that result in fat bellies and even obesity.  Men and women react to fats differently too.  So how fast is it really to lose love handles fast?</p>
<p>As mentioned, fat deposits vary from person to person.  A lot of factors are attributed to this.  Age is one.  Gender is another factor.  The most common is unbalanced diet.  If what you eat generates more fats than what your body normally burns without any exercise, your chance to lose love handles fast is unlikely to happen.  The more fats your body stores, the longer it will take you to burn them.</p>
<p>Another fact that you must know is that the love handle section of your body is the most likely to accumulate unwanted fats.  While this is true, it is also the last to dispose of them.  Your beer belly is a stubborn belly when it comes to reducing weight and muscle building. <p>- Regularly do resistance exercise.  This training aim to build muscles in your body.  When done regularly, you will eventually have toned muscles.  Why do you need to do this?  Because muscles burn fats.  If you have them, you won&#8217;t have to work as hard in the long run.  And all you need to do is to maintain your weight.  Then you won&#8217;t have to worry about how to lose love handles fast.  When you&#8217;ve reduced your body weight, increase your mass with muscles.  Try the abdominal crunch exercises and weightlifting.</p>
<p>- Eat right.  Of course, this is already explained above.  The more food you eat means more chances of storing excessive fats.  If these stored fats are not used in the soonest time possible, you&#8217;ll end up piling those ugly love handles.  While exercising, be conscious about the food you eat too.  Get the right amount of protein, vitamins, and minerals.  Consider fibrous foods, lean meat, fish, fruits and vegetables in your diet.  Eat breakfast and avoid taking binges and snacks.  If you want to lose love handles fast, you have to help yourself by not helping yourself with fatty foods.</p>

<p>&#8220;Is it possible to build muscle, nuke fat, achieve peak condition and get maximum hard-body results if I don&#8217;t have a power rack and I only have access to a barbell? Not even an Olympic barbell, but one of those old crappy cement filled barbell sets&#8221;</p>
<p>I know exactly the weights this guy is talking about. I think most of us grew up with them right? They were basically cement weights covered in plastic, and over time the plastic busted up and the cement started to get busted underneath remember?</p>
<p>I guess I&#8217;m showing my age <img src='http://reduceyourdiabetesrisktoday.info/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /><br />
To cut a long story short&#8230;</p>
<p>YES! You can build strength and power with archaic equipment!</p>
<p>You just need somebody to teach you exactly how. Fortunately you met me. And thank heavens I just read a large amount of Dan John&#8217;s awe-inspiring &#8220;From the Ground Up&#8221;.</p>
<p>In this brilliant little ebook Dan John defines the &#8220;Rapid Ascent Program&#8221;, which made up of three exercises:</p>
<p>1. Explosive/Hamstring move</p>
<p>2. Military Press</p>
<p>3. Squat Move</p>
<p>And here&#8217;s how you did the program (from his book):</p>
<p>&#8220;The program was incredibly simple. In the beginning, groups of four boys were given a bar. The bars were weighted from very lightit could be 25 poundsup to possibly close to 100 pounds. Each group of boys would lift one at a time, put the bar down, then the next boy would lift. The four would continually move from lifter to watcherthe bar never stopped. The three sets (explained in just a moment) would not take very longactually, at times it was hard to catch your breath in time for your next set.</p>
<p>The repetitions were very easy</p>
<p>* Set #1: 8 reps</p>
<p>* Set #2: 6 reps</p>
<p>* Set Number 3 &#8212; 4 repetitions</p>
<p>The goal was simple: once you got all 18 reps (8+6+4), you added weight. If you started with a bar that was excessively light, the succeeding workout, you would be bumped up to the next weight and a stronger group. (Needless to say, actual variations could include making a whole new group with more weight, tooor whatever necessary to make the group work together).&#8221;</p>
<p>Looks simple doesn&#8217;t it?</p>
<p>That&#8217;s the beauty of this program!</p>
<p>You don&#8217;t need a lot of equipment to build strength, muscle and power all while increasing your cardiovascular fitness and burning off pounds of fat.</p>
<p>What you DO need is a little &#8220;do or die&#8221; attitude. You have to decide you really WANT to achieve your fitness goals, then you&#8217;ll find a way to use whatever equipment you have available to make it happen.</p>
<p>I like this program because it keeps up with the DoubleYourGains&#8217; philosophy of training movement patterns instead of a bunch of exercises. The Rapid Ascent program has a press move (military press), a pull move (power clean), a squat move (front squat) and an explosive/hamstring move (power clean).</p>
<p>How to carry out the &#8220;Rapid Ascent&#8221; program for cardio and fat loss:</p>
<p>Coach Dan highlights that you could also acquire a great cardio workout and nuke some fat:</p>
<p>&#8220;To &#8220;hurry up&#8221; the trainingas if it was necessary, there were times when Mr. Freeman recommended combining the Power Clean and Military Pressesone clean and one press, repeated for a total of eight reps. this was done with a lighter weight. One could also do the Front Squats after the clean and presses, too. I have only done this onceand it was an amazing cardiovascular workout.&#8221;</p>
<p>Thus if you think you don&#8217;t have a sufficient equipment to get into top shape and attain your fitness goals you are erroneous. You are erroneous. You are erroneous.</p>
<p>In fact, you don&#8217;t even need a barbell. You can get underway with the DoubleYourGains&#8217; bodyweight program. You can do pullups on your door frame (for extra strong fingers) or just grab the top of a door and go to town (or a tree limb, anything you can hang from, etc) Have faith in me, if THAT workout gets easy for you - you will be a certified STUD.</p>
<p>Then, once you get access to a good Olympic barbell set you can start the DoubleYourGains&#8217; 3-5 Program.</p>
